White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles stated on September 16 2026 that she is cancer-free following treatment for aggressive breast cancer.

Politico reported that there is panic in the White House regarding the family ties of the chief of staff.

Senior White House officials denied that Susie Wiles orchestrated or arranged the Hannity interview booking.

One anonymous source said Wiles was not in favor of Katie Zacharia being appointed White House press secretary.
